Details for "Skills I"
Before registering for a camp you must become a member on this site. Sign up to be a Camp Member here.
Skills I camps are designed to meet the needs of the beginner volleyball player with
little or no organized team experience. Recommended for players
entering 4th-7th grades. Campers will be ability grouped according to
experience and level of play.
Suggested Additional Camps:
Consider adding a One Day Clinic in Serve-Pass, Libero-Defense or
Hit-Block. We also offer a full range of position camps for Setters and
for Hitters. Our Competition Camp offers top-notch training and
competition for the experienced player. Choose Skills I or Skills II to develop techniques in all areas.
If
you would like to register for multiple camps, please complete this
registration and begin again, or call us at 713-522-2160 and we can "speed enter" your player into any camp, from our office.
Debbie
Sokol begins her 25th year as owner and director of one of the largest
volleyball camps in the nation. She has played and coached at the collegiate, national and
international levels. Complimenting her love for teaching
skills is her passion for coaching and directing. From 1982-1993, Sokol served as the head coach at Rice University. From 1993-2007, Sokol directed the
very competitive and elite junior volleyball program, Club Texas. Currently Sokol presides over the volleyball program at The Kinkaid School in Houston and head coaches the varsity team. She has served professionally on the NCAA Division
1 All-America Committee, TAIAW Board of Directors and Club Texas Board
of Directors. Sokol is a member of the American Volleyball Coaches
Association, and is CAP and IMPACT certified.
